We believe booking a house cleaner should be simple. You shouldn’t need to decipher packages, add-ons and extra fees just to figure out what your clean will actually cost.
Our residential cleaning rate is simple:
$40/hour + GST. Always.
There are no add-on charges for things like baseboards, blinds, inside the oven, inside the fridge, detailed bathroom cleaning or other specific tasks.
We have one rate for cleaning. Period. 🩷
Want us to spend part of your appointment tackling your oven? Go for it. Baseboards need some love? Add them to the list. Rather have us skip the bedrooms and spend that time deep cleaning your kitchen? Absolutely.
The difference isn't the hourly rate. It's the amount of time your clean requires.
🏡 So how do we determine your price?
Before your first clean, we'll visit your home for a complimentary 10–15 minute Meet & Greet.
We'll look at your space, talk about your priorities and cleaning style, discuss the type of clean you're looking for, and determine approximately how many cleaning hours will be needed.
Your final quote is based on:
Your home + your needs + your priorities + your chosen level of clean + the estimated cleaning time.
So if we determine your clean will take 4 hours, your quote is based on 4 hours × $40/hour + GST.
No surprise add-ons. No separate charge because you asked us to wipe the blinds. No "$25 oven upgrade." No complicated packages.

These options help determine what you'd like accomplished and how detailed you'd like us to be, which helps us estimate the amount of time we'll need.
A Deep Clean will naturally require more cleaning hours than a Mom Clean, but the rate never changes. (detailed task lists can be found at the bottom of this page)

When you book a clean with Sparkle Squad, you have choices!
You can have your clean completely customized by length, frequency and choosing exactly what and how we clean.
OR
You can choose the length, frequency and depth of clean from our task lists.
Regardless of which style of clean you choose (custom or task list), everything will be done as time permits.
We work through your priority list first and get as much done as possible, in the time allotted. Because nobody likes surprises, we will never go over the time, without discussing it with you first.
